• Cardboard triangle

WHAT YOU NEED?

• Scissors

• Fork

• Ribbon, string and/or tinsel

• Green paint

• Adhesive gems

• Star

• Green paint stick or crayon

STEP 1: CARDBOARD

A grown-up should prepare a large cardboard triangle.

Use scissors to cut small notches along the two long sides of the cardboard triangle.

STEP 2: CUT NOTCHES

STEP 3: COLOR

Color the cardboard triangle with green paint stick or crayon.

STEP 4: PAINT WITH FORK

Use a fork to paint the needle-like texture on the cardboard tree.  Let dry.

STEP 5: WRAP STRING

Wrap string, yarn or tinsel around the tree. Use the notches along the side to secure the ends.

STEP 6: ADD GEMS

Use a metallic marker or black marker to draw the ornament hooks. 

STEP 7: ADD STAR

Use a foam star sticker or cut out a star + glue to the top.
